Refund Policy

This Refund and Replacement Policy governs the terms under which employers (“Clients”) may request a refund or replacement for recruitment services availed through Shyam Placement Services (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “Platform”).

1. No Charges for Job Seekers

Shyam Placement Services does not charge any fees to employees or job seekers.

All job placement services for candidates are 100% free of cost.

This policy applies only to employers/clients who have paid professional service fees.

2. Nature of Services

Shyam Placement Services provides recruitment and placement support by sourcing, screening, and facilitating suitable candidates for employers. As services are performance-based and time-bound, refunds and replacements are governed strictly by the terms below.

3. Refund Eligibility (Employer Only)

  • If a placed candidate leaves or is relieved within 15 days from the date of onboarding, the employer shall be eligible for a refund.

  • The refund request must be formally communicated to Shyam Placement Services within the same 15-day period.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 working days from the onboarding date, subject to verification.

  • The payment processing timeline for approved refunds is up to 15 working days from the date of approval.

4. Replacement Policy (After 15 Days)

  • If the candidate leaves after completion of 15 days from the onboarding date, no monetary refund shall be provided.

  • In such cases, Shyam Placement Services will provide one free replacement candidate for the same position, subject to availability and mutually agreed timelines.

  • Replacement is limited to the same job role, location, and salary structure as initially agreed.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds or replacements shall not be applicable if:

  • The candidate resigns due to changes in job role, salary, location, reporting manager, or working conditions made by the employer after onboarding

  • The employer terminates the candidate for reasons unrelated to candidate performance (e.g., internal restructuring, role closure)

  • Incorrect or incomplete job details were shared by the employer

6. Cancellation of Services

  • Once a candidate has been shortlisted, interviewed, selected, and onboarded, the service shall be considered initiated and delivered.

  • Cancellation requests after onboarding will be governed strictly by this Refund & Replacement Policy.

7. Mode of Refund

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed through the original mode of payment or via bank transfer.

  • Any applicable taxes or statutory deductions may be adjusted as per law.

8. Final Decision

All refund and replacement requests are subject to internal verification and approval by Shyam Placement Services.

The company’s decision shall be final and binding.
